Is Bible truly the word of God?

”Therefore woe be unto those who write the Scripture with their hands and then say, "This is from Allah," that they may purchase a small gain therewith. Woe unto them for that their hands have written, and woe unto them for that they earn thereby.”

Quran 2:79

Before a piece of information can be accepted it has to be authentic and also needs to meet certain criteria’s in order for it to be trusted, however, when a book claims to be the word of god it too has to meet certain criteria’s such as zero contradictions and has to make sense because off-course- 

God doesn’t contradict himself! But is this the case with the Bible? Let us dig a little deeper...

You see... the Christians say the Bible is the word of god-with the largest amount of followers Christianity is the biggest religion of today but the question is the Bible really good enough to be the word of god? Lets see for our selves...

  

Contradictions in the Bible:

1. Who incited David to count the fighting men of Israel?

• God did (2 Samuel 24: 1)
• Satan did (I Chronicles 2 1:1)

2. In that count how many fighting men were found in Israel?

• Eight hundred thousand (2 Samuel 24:9)
• One million, one hundred thousand (I Chronicles 21:5)

3. How many fighting men were found in Judah?

• Five hundred thousand (2 Samuel 24:9)
• Four hundred and seventy thousand (I Chronicles 21:5)

4. God sent his prophet to threaten David with how many years of famine?

• Seven (2 Samuel 24:13)
• Three (I Chronicles 21:12)

5. How old was Ahaziah when he began to rule over Jerusalem?

• Twenty-two (2 Kings 8:26)

Surely the Bible cannot be the word of god simply because it has contradictions and God Almighty can never contradict himself!
